Alex, a west Point Graduate and the holder of an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis is a combat veteran of the Viet Nam war who spirals into the abyss of depression, mental illness and severe PTSD. Army officer,MBA to a classification of “unemployable homeless veteran” by the VA. Alex and Ken’s lives intersect at Americian Legion Post 1941, La Grange, Illinois. Alex is brought back to a level where he can enjoy the everyday things that most of us take for granted.
